UN high commissioner for refugees arrives in Azerbaijan
Baku, May 10 (AzerTAc). UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Antonio Guterres will arrive in Azerbaijan on May 18.
The guest will visit national leader Heydar Aliyev`s grave and the Alley of Martyrs.
Mr. Guterres will also visit new settlements built for refugees and IDPs in Agdam and Yevlakh regions.
The high commissioner will meet with deputy prime minister, chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov, chief of the State Migration Service Arzu Rahimov and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. He will also participate in a “roundtable” with participation of the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs from US, Russia and France and the UN resident-coordinator.
