EARTHQUAKE HITS TIMIKA ON FRIDAY
Bengkulu, Sept. 5 (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Timika, Papua Province, on Friday, at 5.56 am Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
The earthquake's epicenter was located at 4.47 degrees eastern latitude and 137.69 degrees eastern longitude, around 88 km northeast of Timika, at a depth of 10 km below sea level, according to information of the meteorology and geophysics office.
