Azeri delegation at OSCE PA meets Mr. Petros Efthymiou
Baku, May 12 (AzerTAc). Azeri delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) has today met with organization`s President Petros Efthymiou.
Bahar Muradova, Head of the Azeri delegation and Vice-speaker of the Milli Majlis addressing the meeting emphasized that Azerbaijan is interested in cooperation with all international organizations, including OSCE. Muradova highlighted the achievements of Azerbaijan in political, economic, cultural and energy areas.
The vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament provided information on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and expressed gratitude for OSCE support of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
Petros Efthymiou, in turn, outlined the role of Azerbaijan in ensuring security in the region. Touching upon Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Efthymiou expressed an importance of solving the conflict within the framework of international law. OSCE PA President also said Europe attaches great importance to the regional stability and peace in the South Caucasus.
