Iran, Japan to Start 7th Round of Human Rights Talks Monday

TEHRAN, May 15 (FNA)- The Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan are scheduled to hold their 7th round of talks on human rights on May 16-17.
The first day of the talks will be held in Tehran, while Shiraz, the provincial capital city of the Southern Fars province, will host the second day of the talks.

Tokyo's envoy to the UN will preside the Japanese side in the meetings. He will be accompanied by a number of Japanese diplomats and officials, including the Justice Ministry's director general for international affairs.

The Iranian delegation will be headed by the Foreign Ministry's Director General for International Political Affairs Gholam-Hossein Dehqani.

During the two-day talks, the two sides will discuss the latest human rights developments in Iran, Japan and the world.
