President of Czech visits Alley of Martyrs
Baku, May 17 (AzerTAc). President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who laid down their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Czech President here. President Vaclav Klaus laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
A military orchestra played the national anthems of Czechia and Azerbaijan.
Then, the President enjoyed panoramic view of Azerbaijan’s capital.
