President Ilham Aliyev orders organization of Eurovision-2012 in Baku
Baku, May 19 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today signed an executive order to conduct the Eurovision-2012 song contest in Azerbajian`s capital.
The order envisages setting up an organizing committee chaired by UNESCO goodwill ambassador, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva to ensure that the Eurovision-2012 song contest would be organized properly in May 2012.
The organizing committee was tasked with drawing up an action plan to organize the contest.
