Ambassador Nazir speaks on visas for Saudi students in Australia

Canberra, September 08, SPA -- Saudi ambassador to Australia Hassan
Talat Nazir has announced the decision of the Australian Government
pertaining to raising the category of visas for Saudi students who
are planning to pursue their academic studies in Australia to
category A, which is the highest level of Australian visas for
students who are on scholarships in the country.


Nazir said it will be possible for the Saudi students to apply for
obtaining visas by using technology of electronic visa (E-Visa)
through the internet at any time and any place.


In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ambassador said this
decision reflects the existing strong relations between the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia and Australia.


It was a result of the talks with the Australian government in this
respect, he added.
