‘Chances of peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are higher than ever’
Baku, May 27 (AzerTAc). The chances of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are higher than always, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said, commenting on U.S., French and Russian presidents` Deauville statement.
Ryabkov noted if “we compare the resolutions of the last G-8 summits, we can draw such a result: a chance for peaceful settlement of the conflict is much higher than before.”
“We are not on the threshold of a new conflict, we are much closer to a settlement process. The great coordinated work was conducted and there is a chance for progress and compromise now.”
