Azerbaijan`s Republic Day marked in China
Baku, 29 May (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Embassy in China has organized an official reception to mark 93rd anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR).
The event brought together members of the delegation of Azerbaijan who were in China to participate in Azerbaijani Culture Days, Chinese officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to China, representatives of the Azerbaijani community, students and journalists.
Addressing the event, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev spoke of the history of the ADR.
Touching upon Azerbaijan-China relationship, Garayev said it was developing successfully.
Assistant Foreign Minister of China Cheng Guoping congratulated the Azerbaijani people on behalf of his government.
Guoping stressed the role of leaders of Azerbaijan and China in expansion of relations between the two countries.
