Imam Khomeini urged Muslims unity against world arrogance

New Delhi, June 1, IRNA – Founder of Iran's Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini always emphasized that Muslims must be united against all arrogant powers, said an Indian lawmaker Wednesday in New Delhi.

“One of the distinctive characteristics of the times we live in is the overwhelming presence of differences among Muslims, which is a matter of grave concern. And Imam Khomeini always guided and reiterated that to defeat the world arrogance it is necessary for Muslims to unite,' Member of Legislative Assembly of Delhi Assembly Mateen Ahmed Khan told IRNA.

Paying homage to the greatest personality of the century, on his death anniversary, the Indian lawmaker said that the real tribute to the late Imam would be to follow his guidelines by deeds and form unity.

“Keep aside pity differences, sectarian and regional disputes, unitedly defeat the world –devouring powers, for which Imam had always emphasized,' Mateen stressed.

“Imam Khomeini (R.A.), by his lofty ideology, astonishing valour and sacrifice, not only shook the aggressive powers, but simultaneously restored the lost pride of Muslims. This is very unfortunate that after his physical departure we couldn’t manage to sustain that and once again became the tools in the hands of satanic powers, Mateen noted with the disappointment.

The Indian lawmaker urged Muslims around the globe to strictly follow the late Imam’s guidelines which taught us the lesson of resistance and patience and to be afraid of only the Allah Almighty.

'This is the only way out for the survival of Muslims which will purified our hearts and will make us fearless against satanic powers. Then only Muslims can sustain the pride restored by the revered leader.'/end
