Azeri FM meets League of Arab States Permanent Representatives to UN

Baku, June 1 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with Permanent Representatives of the League of Arab States to the United Nations (UN) as a part of his US visit.
In the meeting, Azeri FM noted Azerbaijan filed a bid for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council for the 2012-2013. He called on the League of Arab States members to support Azerbaijan`s nomination.
Mammadyarov spoke of achievements in economic and energy sphere in Azerbaijan.
The parties exchanged views on Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, ongoing processes in Middle East and Africa as well.
