Participants of 18th session of UNESCO`s International Bioethics Committee tour historic core of Baku

Baku, June 4 (AzerTAc). UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences Ms Pilar Alvarez-Laso, and participants of the 18th session of UNESCO`s International Bioethics Committee have toured the Icharishahar, Inner City, historic core of Azerbaijan`s capital.
The participants were informed about the Icharishahar which was included together with the Maiden Tower and the Palace of Shirvanshahs in the UNESCO`s World Heritage List.
They visited the Maiden Tower, Siratagli religious- architectural comple, remainders of Varfolomei Church, Buhara Karavansaray and Gosha Gala Gates (Twin Gates) of Icherishahar.
