Ayatollah Shirazi encourages officials to abide by leader, by laws

Qom, June 7, IRNA – Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi here Monday encouraged entire system officials to abide by order of Supreme Leader and country’s laws and to keep alive people’s hopes.

The Shi’a source of jurisprudence made the comment in a meeting the Central Committee members of the Association of the Islamic Revolution Wayfarers, including MP Ali-Reza Zakani, further reiterating, “A decent human being cares about the public interests and serving the society beyond his own personal temptations.”

According to the News Center of the Qom Seminary School, the grand ayatollah also referring to the ongoing regional Islamic movements, added, “The developments in the Middle East region are proceeding in favor of Islam and the world Muslims, although many of the enemies’ efforts are aimed at altering the Islamic aspect of the revolutions, but at any rate, these revolutions have Islamic essence and they are taking shape in favor of Islam and the Glorious Qur’an.”

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi reiterated, “Those who are trying to deprive these movements of their Islamic essence are tying in vain.”/end
