Norway ‘interested’ in energy cooperation with Azerbaijan
Baku, June 7 (AzerTAc). Norway`s minister of petroleum and energy Ola Borten Moe has expressed his country`s interest in energy cooperation with Azerbaijan.
“Norway places a particular emphasis on energy cooperation with Azerbaijan,” Borten Moe told Azeri industry and energy minister Natig Aliyev.
“Norway is interested in expanding the bilateral relations and implementing joint projects with Azerbaijan.”
Aliyev praised the Azerbaijan-Norway relations, in particular in the fields of economy and energy.
The minister hailed the activity of Norwegian Statoil company in Azerbaijan.
The two ministers signed a memorandum of cooperation.
