‘Azerbaijan is transparent and democratic country’

Baku, June 8 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan is a transparent and democratic country, European Union energy commissioner Gunter Oettinger told a press conference.
He stressed the number of journalists attending the press conference and free questions they were asking was a vivid example of the freedom of speech in the country.
He added: “Azerbaijan has a strong leader as President Ilham Aliyev. And that is why Azerbaijan is a transparent and democratic country.”
