Oettinger: Azerbaijan is a decisive country in Nabucco

Baku, June 8 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan is a decisive country in realizing Nabucco project, said visiting energy Commissioner of the European Union Gunter Oettinger.
Oettinger stressed Azerbaijan had had huge gas resources
which increase the country`s importance in realization of energy projects in the whole region.
The EU commissioner praised Azerbaijan`s significance as a producer and transit country.
Touching upon the negotiations with producer and transit countries concerning the Nabucco project, Oettinger said “Azerbaijan`s decision will be very important”.
“We are waiting for Azerbaijan`s decision over Nabucco project, that will be a historic decision,” he added.
