President Ilham Aliyev extends public holiday greetings to Queen Elizabeth II of United Kingdom
Baku, June 10 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the country`s public holiday - Birthday of Queen.
In the letter, the Head of State said Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom were bound together by close ties of friendship and cooperation.
The President expressed confidence that “the strengthening of the intergovernmental relations and successful continuation of our cooperation, which covers a number of important spheres, will further serve the interests of our people”.
The Azerbaijani leader wished Queen Elizabeth II robust health and successes in her activity and the people of the United Kingdom peace and prosperity.
