18th Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition Incorporating Refining & Petrochemicals wraps up in Baku

Baku, June 11 (AzerTAc). The 18th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference Incorporating Refining and Petrochemicals has been ended Friday in Azerbaijan`s capital.
The same day, the 1st Caspian International Power and Alternative Energy Exhibition also wrapped up here.
The exhibition brought together 285 companies from 25, as well as representatives of major oil and gas companies.
Over 40% of the exhibition space is occupied by globally renowned state oil and gas companies and corporations, most of which are regular participants in the Caspian Oil and Gas exhibition, such as BP, Itochu, OMV Gas International GmbH, SOCAR, Statoil, Total, TPAO and many others.
The exhibition space was currently reminiscent of huge lecture-hall where thousands of colleagues had met to discuss the issues of the oil and gas sector and to demonstrate the latest achievements in oil and gas production and processing.
The stands of SOCAR, The French-American company Schlumberger, Turkish Petroleum Company (TPAO), Turkey`s Petkim Petrochemical Company, French “GDF Suez” and Total, Malaysian PETRONAS, Russian`s “Russneft”, Germany`s RWE, Norwey`s “Statoil”, Austria`s OMV aroused keen interest in the exhibition.
The exhibition featured a presentation of “Baku White City” Project.
Many well-known companies participated in the 1st Caspian International Power and Alternative Energy Exhibition: AZENCO STP Sumgait Technologies Park, AZERENERGY JSC, GOKNUR Baku LLC, NEXANS Turkey Azerbaijan Branch office, Power & Engineering Solutions, Schneider – Electric, TE Connectivity - TYCO Electronics Raychem GMBH, TURQUOISE LLC and others. The debut exhibition presented key topics: power and electrical engineering, alternative energy sources, energy conservation and efficiency, wires and cables, and lighting.
The organizers of the exhibition include ITE Group Plc., a British Company, and Iteca Caspian, its partner in the Caucasus. The partners of ITE Group Plc., i.e. Iteca Caspian LLC (Azerbaijan), ITE LLC Moscow (Russia), EUF (Turkey), GIMA (Germany), ITE China (PRC), ITE Gulf (UAE) were all actively involved in the project.
