Envoy: Tough way towards expansion of Iranian schools in Tajikistan

Dushanbe, June 11, IRNA – Iran's envoy to Tajikistan said here Friday despite 10 Iranian state and private sector organs’ readiness to establish schools here, very unfortunately there is still a very tough road ahead in that respect.
According to the IRNA correspondent in Dushanbe, Ali Asghar She’rdoust made the comment at a farewell ceremony for six professors of Imam Sadeq (P) Academic Center of the Tajik capital city, asking the country’s officials to elaborate the reason why it is so.
He added, “Why is it that is a land whose people love Iran and the Iranian nation, and every individual, whether the learned, or those who are not active at academic and scientific center, all in all, consider loving Iran as a virtue and a pride, expansion of the Iranian seminaries and schools is not possible?”
Ambassador She’rdoust at the gathering in the presence of the Cultural Attaché of Iran to Tajikistan, the Ambassador of Afghanistan, the IRI Embassy staff, and the members of the other Iranian organs at Dushanbe further emphasized, “It is a dream of every Tajik citizen that their children would get educated at an Iranian school, or seminary school, so there should not be state ratifications to block the path for materializing that wish.”
Elaborating on the reason why he is speaking on the matter at the gathering of brother and friendly nations with same languages and same religions, as the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the host country, Tajikistan, he said, “Despite the positive approach of some officials at the Government of Tajikistan, I hope some of the problems of the last year, some of which we and you observe during the past few weeks and months, would be lifted during the new academic year.”/end
