Iran President felicitates Turkish PM on election victory

Ankara, June 13, IRNA – Iranian ambassador in Turkey, Bahman Hosseinpour, said President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has felicitated Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on victory of his political party of Justice and Development in that country's parliamentary elections.

'The election of Turkey's Justice and Development Party for the third consecutive time, formation of the new Turkish cabinet after the parliamentary elections and felicitations on successful holding of Turkish parliamentary elections are main contents of President Ahmadinejad's message to Premier Erdogan,' Hosseinpour added.

Justice and Development Party managed to get the highest number of votes in Turkey's parliamentary elections held on Sunday./end
