Iran President in Astana for 10th SCO meeting
Astana, June 15, IRNA – Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Kazakhstan Tuesday to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting that kicks off on June 15.
Upon arrival, President Ahmadinejad was welcomed by Kazakh Minister of Communications and Information Askar Zhumagaliyev and Iran's ambassador to Astana.
President Ahmadinejad was due to be officially welcomed by his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev later on Tuesday.
Both Presidents will hold private talks after that.
