Int'l support for MKO, disgraceful: Larijani
Tehran, June 25, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Friday that it is disgraceful to see the international system supporting the terrorist Mujahideen Khalq Organization (MKO).
Larijani made the remark at a gathering held at the Interior Ministry premises in Tehran.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran is a victim of terror and MKO has killed 12,000 of the best Iranians,' he added.
Larijani said that the global arrogance, in particular the US, on the pretext of establishing democracy, provides all-out support for terrorist groups.
"We should come to realize that the martyrdom of Iranians and their innocence has resulted in Islamic awakening throughout the Middle East and North Africa,' Larijani asserted./end
