Pak proposes last week of July for FM-level talks in India

Islamabad, Jun 25 (PTI) Pakistan has proposed last week
of July for crucial talks with India at the Foreign
Minister-level in New Delhi.
According to Pakistani sources, the proposed time frame
has been communicated to India.
The exact dates for the planned talks which are to be
held in July will be finalised through diplomatic channels.
The Foreign Minister-level talks will be preceded by
another round of parleys between the Foreign Secretaries,
who concluded their two-day deliberations here Friday during
which they agreed on various confidence building measures
(CBMs).
As the Foreign Secretaries of the two countries met
here, India told Pakistan that the complex issue of Kashmir
cannot be resolved under the "shadow of gun and extremist
violence."
It raised its concerns over the slow pace of trial of
Mumbai terror attack accused and "worrisome aspects" of terror
links of ISI, as revealed in the trial of Pakistani-Canadian
terrorist Tahawwur Rana in Chicago. PTI RHL
