Iran: Demands of oppressed Libyan people must be met
Tehran, July 2, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman said here Friday that the demands of the oppressed Libyans must be provided for them, announcing Iran's readiness for forwarding humanitarian aid to Libyan refugees.
According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs Information and Media Head Office, Ramin Mehmanparast further said that “Keeping in mind the occurrence of Islamic awareness wave in the region, Iran supports those popular uprisings in the region that are in the cradle of Islamic awareness.”
Mehmanparast, focusing on the ongoing developments in Libya, while condemning the massacre of innocent people of that country on various pretexts by any group, reiterated, “Iran believes the demands of the oppressed Muslim people of Libya must be met.”/end
