Iran Vice-President expected to sign at least 15 agreements in Iraq

Tehran, July 4, IRNA -- Iran's deputy ambassador to Baghdad said on Monday that the country's 1st Vice-President will sign at least 15 agreements in his upcoming visit to Iraq.
Kazem Forutan told IRNA that Mohammad Reza Rahimi will head a high-ranking politico-economic delegation including eight ministers, some deputy ministers and several businessmen. Rahimi is expected to sign the contracts in different fields including economic, trade, agriculture, health and medical, culture, education, customs and road transport.
Analysts consider Rahimi’s 3-day visit to Baghdad, due to begin on Wednesday, a turning point in the two countries economical cooperation.
Forutan said that Rahimi will participate in Tehran-Baghdad joint economic commission with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki./end
