Efforts to divide Iranian society will fail: Pak.Religious leader

Islamabad, July 6, IRNA – Former Chief of Pakistan's main Islamic party on Tuesday agreed with the stand of Iran's Supreme Leader that the West will not succeed in dividing the Iranian society.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has warned against fueling disputes and creating clamor in the country, stressing the importance of unity.

“One of the most important and necessary matters for the continuation the perfective and the progressive movement of the Islamic Revolution is to avoid fueling the atmosphere of dispute, chaos and clamor in society and all political and ideological currents and organs must be practically committed to safeguarding unity,” the Leader said.

The Leader stressed the necessity of safeguarding unity in society and said, “All [Iranians] must stand against the enemy like an impenetrable wall and in a united front.”

Talking to IRNA Amir Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Qazi Hussain Ahmad said that efforts are underway to divide the Iranian society as well as other Islamic societies.

He advised Muslim Ummah to remain vigilant against western conspiracies and not to become tools in the hands of west.

“They (westerners) are trying to create misunderstandings between Muslim societies”, the religious leader said.

Qazi Hussain Ahmad said that west is against Iran because the country is not accepting the western dominance and is following an Islamic system.

He believed that there is no room for secularism in Islamic countries.

Referring to the recent developments in the Middle East and North Africa, Qazi Hussain Ahmad said, the wave of movement has begun in the region and will be in countries far beyond the region./end
