US arms sale to S.Arabia, threat to Iran: Hezbollah

Beirut, July 9, IRNA – Member of the Central Council of Lebanese Hezbollah Sheikh Muhammad Yezbek said that US arms sale to Saudi Arabia aimed to threaten Iran.
Yezbek noted that the arms sale agreement amounts to some 90 billion dollars, seen as one of the biggest in US arms trade history, and it was signed under condition that the weapons won't be used against the Zionist regime.
The sheikh welcomed the statement of Sheikh al-Azhar of Egypt Ahmad Muhammad Tayyeb on necessity of strengthening relations between Shia and Sunni Muslims.
"When US and other enemies of Islam are trying to create disunity among Muslims, the statement of Tayyeb is inviting Muslims for solidarity and creation of a united Ummah," he said.
Tayyeb had recently declared that Shia Muslims are an inseparable part of Islam and their differences with Sunni Muslims are only on minor issues./end
