GARUDA, KANSAI YAMAMOTO TO ORGANIZE 'BALI SUPER SHOW' IN DECEMBER
Tokyo, Sept. 13 (ANTARA) - Indonesia's flag carrier Garuda Indonesia and Japanese international fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto will jointly organize a colossal event called "Super Show" in Bali, on December 6, 2008, to mark the conclusion of Indonesia-Japan bilateral relations' 50th anniversary commemoration.
Garuda had held a meeting with representatives of Kansai Yamamoto last Friday to discuss the planned "Super Show", Faik Fahmi, General Manager of Garuda for China, Japan, South Korea and the United States of America, told ANTARA here on Saturday.
Kansai Yamamoto initiated the colossal show and further brought the idea to the Indonesian embassy and Indonesian Trade Minister Mari Pangestu when she visited Tokyo.
In the Super Show, Yamamoto will also use Batik as the materials for his designs.
