Qatar Participates in the Celebrations Marking the Declarations of South Sudan
Doha,July 09(QNA)- On behalf of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani,HE Minister of Environment Abdulla bin Mubarak bin Aboud Al Madadi attended the celebrations marking the creation of the state South Sudan in Juba-the capital of the newly born nation.
The Qatari delegation, who participated in the celebrations, included HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan Ali bin Hassan Al Hammadi.
HE the Minister conveyed the greetings and congratulations of HH the Emir to President Salva Kiir of South Sudan as well as his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the newly born state.
For his part, the President of the Republic of South Sudan entrusted HE the Environment Minister to convey his best regards to His Highness the Emir, as well as his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the State of Qatar under the wise leadership of His Highness.
Salva Kiir also lauded the leading role played by the of Watar in supporting and resolving many regional and international issues.(QNA)
