Foreign meddling made region chaotic: MP
Tehran, July 11, IRNA – Majlis (Parliament) Vice Speaker Shahabeddin Sadr said on Sunday that the meddling of foreign countries in the Middle East and North Africa regions will create a chaotic atmosphere there.
Sadr made the remark in a meeting with the visiting deputy head of Ukraine’s Supreme Council Nikolai Tomenko and the accompanying delegation in Tehran.
Referring to the role that Tehran and Kiev play in the region, Sadr denounced the interference of foreign countries in regional disputes and called for further role of people of the regional countries in determining their own fates.
He pointed out that the parliaments of both Iran and Ukraine play a crucial role in determining the foreign policy-making process of both countries.
“The political will of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to enhance ties with Ukraine in all areas,” Sadr added./end
