Supreme Leader: All should reflect realities, avoid magnifying negative points

Tehran, July 13, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that having a correct understanding of the country’s social and economic status prepares ground for a significant economic breakthrough.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remark in a meeting with presiding board of Iran Chamber of Commerce Industries and Mines (ICCIM) on Tuesday.

According to the Supreme’s Leader Office, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to this year designated as Year of Economic Jihad and said all should reflect realities and avoid magnifying negative points.

Article 44 of the Iranian Constitution has opened a new chapter to the country’s economic development, said the Supreme Leader.

It is among duties of the chamber to encourage the private sector and prepare grounds for its active presence in the country’s development and progress, said Ayatollah Khamenei.

Referring to the futile efforts of the US and other enemies of the Islamic Revolution to deal a blow on Iran by imposing sanctions or masterminding various plots, the Supreme Leader said they are trying to disappoint people through pressures and defeating their revolution but to no avail./end
