Pakistani media gives wide coverage to Zardari's Iran visit

Islamabad, July 18, IRNA – All Pakistani newspapers on Sunday gave wide coverage to Iran visit of President Asif Ali Zardari and his meeting with Iranian leaders.
All newspapers published pictures of President Zardari’s meeting with Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Many papers, both in English and Urdu languages, published lead stories about the visit.
“Gas pipeline to reach border next year: Iran”, leading Dawn newspaper reported in the lead story.
The Nation headline said, 'Pak-Iran currency swap proposed.'
Daily Times reported on front page “Pakistan, Iran resolved to boost economic relations.”

The News International’s headline says, “Zardari proposes Islamabad-Tehran currency swap accord.”
