BATAVIA AIR'S TWO FLIGHTS POSTPONED FOR UNCLEAR REASONS
Medan, Sept 14 (ANTARA) - Batavia Airlines postponed two flights on the Medan-Jakarta route without clear reasons.
Tho two flights had been delayed 1.5 to two hours from 10.05 to 11.35, and from 15.45 to 17.45 WIB.
According to Polonian Airport, Medan, the Batavia Airline flight delays were prompted by plane's operational problems.
Meanwhile, one of Batavia's passengers A Muchyan, (50) was dissapointed with the delays.
"As a passanger, when we are late for checking in, they cut the fare of our ticket, and if we are late for boarding, our tickets are even cancelled. But if the flight is two hours late, we can only wait for unfair compensation," he said.
Meanwhile, the Batavia Airlines ticketing officer, Eko Suardana, said the delay was caused by late arrivals from Jakarta.
"Unfortunately the plane from Jakarta arrived late in Medan, but for a night flight to Jakarta, as a compesation of the delay we were given snacks to all the passengers," he said.
