Iranian culture has had great impact on whole world: President
Ardebil, July 18, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Monday that the Iranian culture and nation have had positive impacts on the entire globe.
The President made the remarks in a ceremony held on the occasion of the global registration of Sheikh Safieddin-e Ardebili Complex in this northwestern Iranian province.
“If Iranians had not established a powerful and independent government based on justice and monotheism, today, there would have been no sign of justice and monotheism in the whole world,” he added.
The Arrogant world is ready to accept the Zionist regime, while it counters forerunners of monotheism and justice as well as the followers of divine values, the President noted, adding that such a move is an indication of the anger of the bullying powers towards the nature of Islam and Shi'ism.
The President arrived here Monday morning to inaugurate the second phase of the Ardebil combined cycle gas plant which has been set up at the cost of about 175 million dollars.
The capacity of the Ardebil power plant has increased to 954 MW from 630 MW after the inauguration of the second phase and more than 90 percent of the equipment installed in the plant has been made in the country.
The first phase of the plant came on stream in 2009./end
