IRIB studio inaugurated in Islamabad

Islamabad, July 19, IRNA – The studio of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) was inaugurated in Islamabad on Monday.
Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Masha’Allah Shakeri inaugurated the studio and appreciated the efforts of IRIB in portraying true image of Iran.
He stressed the importance of media in a democratic society. He added that enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in the field of media would further reinforce the strong relationship between the two brotherly countries.
Former Secretary General of Foreign Affairs and former ambassador Muhammad Akram Zaki congratulated IRIB on the opening of studio.
He expressed hope that relations between Iran and Pakistan would be further strengthened in times to come. He said that media of Iran and Pakistan should cooperate to tackle the western dominance.
Iran's Cultural Councilor to Pakistan Agha Ali Noori was also present on the occasion.
Distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by the Director General of IRIB, Mehdi Kazemian.
Ambassador Shakeri visited different sections of the studio and interacted with the staff. He appreciated professionalism of the IRIB staff and wished them good luck./end
