DONGGALA POLICE FOIL EBONY SMUGGLNG ATTEMPT
Palu, Indonesia, Sept. 15 (ANTARA) - Donggala Police foiled an attempt to smuggle out around six cubic meters of ebony wood worth hundreds of millions of rupiahs, to Tawao, Malaysia, last Saturday (Sept. 13).
The police had intercepted a wooden boat carrying the ebony at Tanjung Manimbaya waters, last Saturday, Donggala Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Fahruzzaman said here on Monday.
The ebony wood claimed to be owned by someone identified as Musakir in Nunukan, East Kalimantan, was seized and the boat's crew were detained in Donggala.
