EU PROMISES 250 M USD GRANT FOR INDONESIAN EDUCATION
Jakarta, Sept 14 (ANTARA) - The European Union is committed to granting 200 to 250 million US dollars, or Rp2.3 Billion for education sector development on 2009 to Indonesia.
"Based on the Paris Declaration, international donors should be harmonized and syncronized their funding program with the recipient countries," said the Secretay of the National Planning Board (Bappenas) Syahrial Loetan here, Sunday.
The fact that the grant money will be registered in the national budget (APBN), the foreign fund is apart from the 2009 education's APBN worth Rp224 Billion or 20 percent from the 2009 APBN.
