Iran gains remarkable progress in energy transactions

Tehran, July 26, IRNA – Islamic Republic of Iran has gained remarkable progress in the fields of energy transactions with other countries.
Referring to Iran's recent agreements with other countries in gas export, Non Aligned Movement (NAM) News Network (NNN) announced that Iran has gained astonishing progress in energy transactions.
Pointing to Iran's plans to export gas to Europe via Syria and Iraq pipeline called the “Islamic gas pipeline' to be constructed in near future, NNN stressed that once the project was constructed, Iran would export a portion of its gas to Europe via the pipeline.
On July 25, an agreement was signed by Iran, Iraq and Syria for construction of the 'Islamic gas pipeline.'
The 10-billion-dollar project would export gas from Islamic countries to the West for the first time ever.
According to the agreement, Iran's natural gas would be exported to Europe through Iraq, Syria and Lebanon via a 5,000 km pipeline./end
