MARAUKE IMMIGRATION DETAINS FIVE AUSTRALIANS

Timika, Sept 16 (ANTARA) - The Marauke Immigration office has detained five Australian nationals for immigration rule violations, head of the Marauke Immigration office, Freddy Manus said.
"We have detained the five Australians at the request of the director general of immigration," he said when contacted from Timika on Tuesday.
He said the five Australians were now undergoing questioning , the results of which would be reported to the immigration director general who would decide the further steps to be taken, including deportation.
The five foreigners entered Merauke illegally on September 12, 2008. They entered through Horn Island in Australia using a V-68 aircraft bearing the flight code VH-PFP.
The five consisted of the aircraft's pilot, William Henry Scott Bloxom, and co-pilot, Vera Scott Bloxom, and three passengers, namely Keen Burke, Hubert Hofer and Keith Rower Mortimer.
