Iran's FM says will discuss Russia ‘step-by-step’ plan in Moscow
TEHRAN, July 30 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has said that he will discuss the Russian proposal for a “step-by-step” approach on Iran’s nuclear issue in an upcoming visit to Moscow.
“I will travel to Moscow in the near future and discuss bilateral ties, regional developments, and international issues including (Russian Foreign Minister) Mr. Lavrov’s proposal,” Salehi explained.
On July 13, Russia made a proposal for a “step-by-step” approach, according to which Iran could address questions about its nuclear program and be rewarded with a gradual easing of sanctions.
