Iran’s news community can be a global model: President
Tehran, Aug 8, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that he hopes that Iran’s news community could present a proper information dissemination model to the world.
The president made the remark on the occasion of the Reporter’s Day in Iran and at the end of the cabinet meeting in Tehran on Sunday.
“We hope that Iran’s news community be vibrant, motivated and committed to human and divine values as before. I hope that our journalists could provide the international community with a suitable model,” he added.
He felicitated all reporters on the occasion of the Reporter’s Day.
August 8 has been named the Reporter’s Day in Iran to commemorate the martyrdom of correspondent of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Mahmoud Saremi.
