Iran can help improve regional countries ties: Qatari speaker
Tehran, Aug 8, IRNA -- Speaker of Qatari Advisory Council Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Kholaifi said on Sunday that the relations among regional countries can be improved with the help of Iran.
Qatari speaker made the remark in a meeting with head of Majlis (Iranian parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi in the Qatari capital of Doha on Sunday.
'We can achieve desirable results with the help of Iran,' al-Kholaifi added.
Boroujerdi submitted Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani’s message to his Qatari counterpart, al-Kholaifi.
Referring to the recent uprisings and Islamic awakening in North Africa and the Middle East, Boroujerdi emphasized on the necessity for supporting all nations in order to help them achieve their demands.
He also emphasized the urgency for negotiations among heads of Muslim and Arab countries aimed at resolving the problems of Muslim world./end
