Qatar to Meet Iraq in Football Friendly

Doha, August 11 (QNA) - Qatar s national team will lock horns against Iraq in an international football friendly on August 19, 2011 to be held in Doha, Qatar.
The friendly match comes in light of the two team’s preparation for the Asian Zone qualifications for FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
On other hand, national team is scheduled to meet Jordan in second preparatory match on August 25 at Tahnoun bin Mohammed stadium in Ain City, UAE.
National team will play the two friendly encounters under the supervision of the new-appointed Brazilian coach Sebastiao Lazaroni.
As per FIFA World Cup 2014 preliminary round draw (Asian zone) Qatar has been drawn in Group E alongside Bahrain, Iran and Indonesia.
