Sonia convalescing "very well": Chidambaram

New Delhi, Aug 12 (PTI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi,
who underwent a surgery in a US hospital, is "convalescing
very well", Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram said Friday.
Responding to a question about the latest medical
condition of the United Progressive Alliance(UPA) Chairperson,
the Home Minister said "we are not authorized to speak on her
health condition. The party spokesperson has been putting out
the updates on her health condition."
He, however, added "she is convalescing very well from
what I have come to know from the last report."
