President condoles Shammi Kapoor's death

New Delhi, Aug 14 (PTI) Indian President Pratibha Patil
Sunday condoled the death of veteran actor Shammi Kapoor and
said the film industry has "lost a creative talent" in his
demise.
"Shri Kapoor was one of the veteran actors, who adorned
Hindi cinema. He delighted Hindi cinema fans with his
vivacious acting. He shall always be remembered by a
generation of film watchers," she said in her condolence
message.
"His acting was best exemplified through the popular songs
in the movies Junglee, Rajkumar, Teesri Manzil, Tumsa Nahi
Dekha, Kashmir Ki Kali, Brahmachari, Vidhata and others. In
his death, the film industry has lost a creative talent," she
said.
