FUUAST crystallization of Molvi Abdul Haq
Karachi, August 16, 2011 (PPI): Vice Chancellor Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) Dr. Mohammad Quasar said that the Urdu University was crystallization of its founder Baba-e-Urdu Molvi Abdul Haq’s dream.
He was addressing to the 50th death anniversary of Baba-e-Urdu Molvi Abdul Haq on Tuesday at varsity campus. He said that the varsity was trying to spread education in Urdu language.
VC said that the FUUAST has three campuses in the country -one in Islamabad and two in Karachi. He said new campuses would be established in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in future.
He said that the national language of any nation made causes of its development; therefore government should take steps for promotion of Urdu language.
Deputy chair FAUST senate Aftab Ahmed Khan said that Urdu was a great language of the world. He said that the varsity was providing education in Urdu language as per dreams of Molvi Abdul Haq.
DCO Karachi Mohammad Husain Syed, Registrar FUUAST Prof. Dr. Qamarul Haq, Prof. Dr. Jamal Hyder, Dean Faculty of Arts Dr. Semean Naghmana Tahir and other teachers were present.
