President returns home after brief visit to Bahrain
SIALKOT, August 18, 2011 (PPI): President Asif Ali Zardari returned home early Thursday morning after a short visit to Bahrain, during which he held wide-ranging talks with its leadership.
The King of Bahrain Hamad bin Esa Al Khalifa, who received the President at the airport, also saw him off, in a reflection of deep friendship between the two countries.
The two leaders during the talks discussed ways to further promote bilateral ties through enhanced economic interaction, and to work jointly for stability and peace of the region.
