FM spokesman condemns new Zionist attacks on Gaza, Rafah

Tehran, Aug 20, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast strongly condemned the new brutal attacks of Zionist regime forces on the fasting and defenseless Palestinians.

A number of civilian Palestinians were martyred or injured during the attacks.

According to a Foreign Ministry statement on Saturday, the spokesman stressed that the attacks were an attempt on the part of the Zionist regime to cover up its own internal problems and distract the regional as well as the international public opinion from situation in the occupied territories on the threshold of the World Quds Day.

Mehmanparast further called on international bodies and organizations claiming support for human rights to condemn the anti-human attacks and do their best to prevent repetition of such acts in the Palestinian territories./end
