Minister Views Mosques as Key Element of Iran's Soft Power

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyed Mohammad Hosseini underlined the significant role of mosques in strengthening the country against enemies' soft threats.
Speaking in Iran's Central city of Shazand on Friday evening, Hosseini stressed that mosques have remarkable share in maintaining and strengthening unity among people and promotion of Islamic values.
He underlined that youth, by attending the mosques, learn about Islamic teachings and divine decrees which will save them from moral and behavioral deviation and enemy's conspiracy.
In June, a senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said that the Islamic nature of Iran's establishment has granted the country an upper-hand in soft war against enemies.
"Our soft war power is much more than enemy's since Islam and our beliefs are our backbone, and this backbone is the strongest in the world," Commander of IRGC's Sahib ul-Amr Corps Salar Abnoush stated at the time.
He further pointed out that a good knowledge and understanding of these two assets enables all Iranian commanders to lead and command their forces efficiently.
