APML expresses grief over loss of lives in Jamrud
Islamabad, August 20, 2011 (PPI): Former President of Pakistan and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Quaid Pervez Musharraf expressing grief over loss of lives in Jamrud suicide blast urged the political and military leadership of the country to make a strategy ensuring end to the ongoing wave of militancy and terrorism from Pakistan.
Talking to media in Dubai on Saturday, former President of Pakistan and APML Quaid Pervez Musharraf said that the elements involved in militant and terrorist activities have nothing to do with Islam and these elements were tarnishing the image of Islam as well as of Pakistan.
The former president said that the region has not yet recovered from the consequences of 9/11, and if NATO forces exit from Afghanistan amid prevailing circumstances will further deteriorated in the region
